Luminair supports MIDI Voice messages, for remote control of faders, scene buttons, and many other actions such as Sequence playback. 

Luminair supports all Core MIDI compliant MIDI sources recognized by the operating system. This includes USB and Bluetooth based controllers, RTP MIDI over Wi-Fi/ethernet, and other apps running on the same device.

• By default, MIDI Input is disabled, and needs to be turned on in Luminair’s Settings -> Remote Control -> MIDI Input.
• To select your MIDI interface for connection, open Luminair’s Connections view, and scroll down and select the MIDI section. In the view that appears, select your MIDI controller in the list. Alternatively, turn on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth LE in this same view and select your controller.
• Luminair uses a MIDI-learn system for assigning MIDI voice messages to Luminair controls. To turn on MIDI-Learn, tap/click on the Action button in the main app toolbar and then select MIDI Learn. Then tap/click on the Luminair control you want to map, and manually adjust the external MIDI control to learn.
• On iPadOS and iOS, to connect to other MIDI controllers on the same device, enable Runs In Background in Luminair’s Settings, and Luminair’s Virtual Input port will be published. Use the other controller app to select it.
