Luminair has been designed so that any Core-MIDI/iOS compatible interface or controller will work.

We don't recommend a specific MIDI controller, as it's difficult to recommend one that covers all user's preferences.

The app supports Core MIDI compliant controllers over Lightning, USB (USB-based controllers will need Apple's lightning-USB camera adapter and sometimes a powered-USB hub in-between in order to provide enough power for external bus-powered MIDI controllers), Wi-Fi (RTP MIDI), Bluetooth (BLE MIDI), and Virtual connections to other Core MIDI apps.

Luminair's MIDI-learn system makes it simple to map any fader or button on an external controller to trigger scenes, fader levels, etc. as well as global actions like Master, Next Scene, Previous Scene, and things like that.
